Iva Walterscheid is a North Texas Native, growing up in Montague County and then moving to Cooke after marrying her husband, Josh. Since attending Texas Woman's University, most of her professional life has been spent in and around Denton County. Iva has been actively involved in the growth in North Texas through their family construction business and real estate investments. She has never met a stranger and her energetic, bubbly personality are excellent tools for navigating this fast-paced market.
Although North Texas will always be home, Iva loves to travel with family and friends, typically squeezing in a few trips a year to the mountains and spending summers on the water. Her son, Brenton, is a student at Texas Tech, and her daughter Della, attends Muenster ISD. Both children have been active in community and school theater productions. Josh and Iva are dedicated to Muenster Jaycees and have served the organization on the state and national levels. As a family, they are known for their community service.
